The Brotherhood of Steel is a post-war technology-focused paramilitary order operating across the territory whose purpose is to preserve advanced technology and regulate its usage. It was founded by the U.S. Army officer Captain Roger Maxson after the Great War.
(1) Star Paladin Cross - A cyborg, the Keeper of the ARM and the second highest ranked soldier at the Citadel.
(2) Sentinel Sarah Lyons - The highest ranked soldier at the Citadel and leader of the Lyons' Pride.
(3) Veronica Renata Santangelo - A journeyman scribe of the Brotherhood living in the Mojave Wasteland and possible companion of the Courier.
(4) Dane - An Initiate of the Brotherhood of Steel who has a dream of one day becoming a Knight.
(5) Elder Arthur Maxson - The Last descendant of the Maxson lineage and the supreme commander of the East Coast chapter of the Brotherhood.
(6) Knight Christine Royce - An ex-Brotherhood scribe, operative of the Circle of Steel, and estranged partner of Veronica.
(7) Father Elijah - A former elder of the Brotherhood of Steel who wants to cleanse the Mojave and create a new world.
(8) Knight Maximus - A rookie soldier and a member of the Brotherhood recently promoted to a squire.
(9) Proctor Ingram - Head of engineering and the proctor for the Order of the Shield at the Prydwen.
(10) Paladin Danse - A commanding officer of Recon Squad Gladius who's revealed to be a synth.
